Everyone can agree that education is the most important aspect of any society to be responsible for. There is just one problem.
Politicians fail to see that education IS the solution, not the problem. In the U.S. politicians hold up deficit spending as the only, or the major, factor holding back our economy. As a result, any U.S. education program that spends money falls into the category of deficit spending.
The only thing I can say about the OECD report, “The Competitiveness of OECD Education Systems in a Global Perspective: A Study of the 2002 OECD Education Student Survey” (PDF), by the OECD is that it is full of good, relevant information that is probably easy to digest for most people. While reading it I couldn’t help thinking about the misconception in the U.S. that education spending must take a back seat to spending for defense.
I felt like I was reading the OECD’s defense budget report, which states: “To meet the challenges of the 21st century, Europe must change the way in which it runs its defence forces. The United States is currently moving ahead of Europe in defence expenditure. If Europe is to remain competitive with the US, as well as to meet its commitment to improved security, a sound and stable defence budget will be essential.”

When the network inventory is complete, Network Asset Manager allows you to save it in a variety of forms. Save the info in a file with.sav extension. If you need to create a more complex report for your PC or server, save the info in a Rich Text Format (RTF) file with.rtf extension.
